Dents By Hand Arvada began servicing the area many years ago for auto body shops and private customers, for hail damage, minor dents and door dings.
Michael Hand was fortunate to have a strong connection with his grandparents and lived in Wheat Ridge and Arvada for much of his childhood up until 1980 when his parents moved to Broomfield. Old town Arvada was great place to grow up in with their unique and long-standing storefronts and service centers. Most of these businesses were family run operations.
Michael was very close to his Grandfather and worked with him learning about tools and metal fabrication as he came from a welding background. He worked at shipyards in California during the great depression and for the railroad and mining industries for many years. He asked me not to get into welding as he wanted me to use my mind more than my body. His many years of hard work had taken their toll on him, and I listened to his wisdom as best I could.
Today Arvada and Wheat Ridge have grown considerably but if you take the time to explore the side streets and old houses you will still get a sense of that age. Wisdom, respect and experience are built into many of the homes from the hand-crafted work of the past. Get to know older people and your life will become much richer.
Most PDR jobs can be done in just a few hours, depending on the size and location of the dent.
PDR works best on shallow, small-to-medium sized dents, where the paint isn’t damaged. However, we’ll assess your dent and let you know if PDR is the right choice for you.
PDR is suitable for all makes and models, as long as the paint is intact and the dent is a good candidate for PDR.
In most cases, PDR is more cost-effective than traditional methods since there’s no need for painting or body filler.
