The main benefits working with Dents By Hand
Niwot, Colorado is named after Chief Niwot, an Arapaho leader, who played in a significant role is negotiations among the influx of early settlers to the area. He was a fluent speaker of English and a skilled diplomat who often worked with other tribes in an attempt to bring peace with the thousands of white settlers converging on Colorado after gold discoveries in Denver in 1858.
He was needlessly killed in the Sand Creek massacre in 1864 despite his efforts to bring peace.
Niwot’s memory lives on in places that carry his name around Boulder where he spent his time hunting and fishing. His name translates to Left Hand and many areas are still defined by his influence.
Today, the town of Niwot still carries the echoes of its past. The railroad which makes its run from Boulder to Longmont had a train depot and many supporting buildings and businesses nearby. This small-town vibe provides for an enjoyable visit and a wonderful place to live.
Hailstorms have worked their way through the community over the years. A series of hail swaths had worked their way through the boulder valley areas producing a variety of damage. In 2018, Dents By Hand repaired many vehicles with smaller dents but numerous hits to the metal. It had hailed consistently for almost 30 minutes on these cars, and they were peppered up with hundreds of dents.
